The Starling Swarm.

This is one of those once in a lifetime images.
I spent several cold Febuary evenings at a Starling roost in Cornwall where over half a million birds come in to settle down for the night.
On this particular night they started to feed on the ground and they were spilling towards me.As I was taking shots I saw a minibus from the corner of my eye and it drove straight through them making the flock form the most fantastic shape.
The Image went on to Win a Gold Medal in the 2006 Austrian Super Circuit.
